Frequently Asked Questions ! Will my fish arrive fresh? ~ Yes we send out fresh fish, straight from the market and local boats that land to us. Our fish arrives at about 10am every morning, then its allocated to orders (either mail orders, wholesale orders or shop orders). How will my fish by packed? ~ After we have prepared your fish it is vacuum packed, however you would like it - i.e. portions for one, or two, or three,etc... then it's labelled with a use by date and the species. On multiple orders we would also add a surname or christain name on the label, so its identifiable when you un pack your box. How does the fish stay cold and fresh? ~ When your fish has been packed and labelled it goes back into our large fridge, just before it is collected by our courier we fill the polystryrene boxes with our own large ice packs, which ensures the fish stays at a constant tempertature for up to 24 hours. How quickly will my fish arrive at my home? ~ Your order will leave us at approximately 4pm and will arrive with you by 12 noon the next day. What happens if I am out when the courier arrives? ~ We ask Business Post to leave your box in a safe place if you are not around to accept delivery. Declined Credit / Debit Cards ~ sometimes customers enter their card details incorrectly on our secure website, or we take card details incorrectly over the phone. We will contact you if this happens. If a second card is also declined then we will not dispatch your order to you. We will also not dispatch any goods when a customer has used a stolen credit card (yes this has happened before!). The only way we will proceed with an order after the second card has been declined is payment by cheuqe, in which case we will ensure that the funds have completely cleared through the banking system.
